Burning fields - alleged wars are on, unknown enemies roam our temples and our homes
Show me the tomb where the bloom of infamy was Born
Why does it feel like my eyes are shuddering?
The breathing’s shallow and my mind keeps screaming
Swallowing the pain that is spreading in front of me, the lies and the horrors, all the enforced fighting
I’m not myself, I am not deciding what to believe and the drums keep beating
Twist my neck with another distraction, I thirst for sorrow and the next big affliction
Empathy - I keep it locked inside
Thrilled and amazed by the vast loads of suffering, feed me with madness, it’s not affecting
Anything I know, for I dug this common grave to bury the last relicts of my guilty conscience
All days end as our hearts are shattered by the terror, the deceit and the constant bloodshed
Time is up, we are nothing to anyone and couldn’t even manage to prevent the secret war hawks from bringing death to us – boiling death
How comes no one ever dropped out?
How comes no one ever stopped them from injecting hate and fear?
Was it phlegm, was it sloth, was it all too distant?
These wars are fuelled by their acts of treason, again and again, it just keeps repeating
All days end as our hearts are shattered by the terror, the deceit and the constant bloodshed
This is hell, it will rise upon everyone - we couldn’t even manage to refuse to absorb their poison
Can’t you see? We’re already dead
I have watched them, legions crying over sheer piles of human flesh
And by dawn there will be silence
On this stone I come to rest
Cold as my blood, dead like our world
Night by night I’m haunted by this terrifying dream, although I know this is far from my reality
I woke up at first light to the sound of dying screams
Only to discover that death has caught up with me

Roots – rotten but firm, still spreading, still tainting what’s left of you
So, across the mountains he goes
On and on through the endless snow
Over rocks and past the land he knows
To a valley where the sun never Shows
There in the shadows they live
Truly happy with the way how it is
No one has the right to insist,
That they take a certain road and change their ways of living life
Least of all, a foreign man
Shadows part and light breaks through
As he casts the night away
By now, dreadful screeching fills the air
As their skin and flesh dissolves
Dead eyes are staring towards the bright sky
Mummified corpses are seaming the streets
Shine forth and cleanse them for this is the truth
If they can’t stand it, they have to shed blood

Tear the flesh from your bones
It’s flawed, steeped with sin
You shall be reborn
It was the most silent night
And only the stars were moving
Cooling dew settled on burnt flesh
Revealing a scenery of devastation
Blinded men, women and children alike
Lying next to the remains of former living bodies
Despair reached up to the heavens, as life bowed to the new law
